International Jhapali Society (IJS), an international umbrella organisation of Nepali expatriates, who originally are from Jhapa district, will organise its first regional meeting in Doha from April 26 to 28 at Crown Plaza hotel.
Dinesh Pokhrel, IJS Chairperson, said the regional meeting was being organised as per the decision taken by the first convention of IJS. Jhapali Nepali people would come from various countries to attend the regional meeting, said Mahendra Chamlagai, Spokesman of IJS, said.
Chamlagai added that the programme would unite Jhapali people and make the organisation vibrant. IJS has its network in more than 24 countries.
For the programme, Manoj Gajurel, a Nepali comedian, will come to Doha. Manoj Gajurel is one of the best stand-up comedians. He is famous for variations in social comedy. His caricature delivery is spectacular.   Gajurel is the member of  Sisno Pani, a classic comedy group from Nepal.
