Qatar Charity and Qatar Fund For Development (QFFD) yesterday announced a co-operation and partnership agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide $9mn in financial support to offer basic services to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh on the sidelines of the Aid and Trade London conference. UNHCR honoured Qatar Charity for its efforts, projects and partnerships with the agency and its humanitarian service. The award was received by Qatar Charity chief executive officer Yousef bin Ahmed al-Kuwari.
