Qtel Group head meets Tunisian PM

During his visit of Qtel’s operations in Tunisia, Group chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Saud al-Thani met Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali yesterday.
Also present at the meeting were Saad bin Nassir al-Homaidi, Qatar’s Ambassador to Tunisia,
Ridha Saidi, Tunisian Minister of Economic Affairs, Mongi Marzouk, Minister of Communication Technologies, Dr Nasser Marafih, Group CEO and Dr Tawfik Jelassi, Chairman of Tunisiana, Qtel’s Tunisian operation.
Sheikh Abdullah said, “We were delighted to have the opportunity to meet with the prime minister, to congratulate him on his nomination and the formation of the new government; and to provide our very best wishes for the people of Tunisia at this critical time.
“The meeting provided us with the opportunity to express the Qtel Group’s firm belief and confidence in Tunisia’s future. We will continue to invest in and support the growth of a vibrant communications sector for the nation.”
