Foodmark, a division of the Landmark Group, recently added Chi’Zen, a premium Chinese eatery, at Oryx Rotana Hotel to its chain of restaurants.
Foodmark has already carved a niche in the local market with the successful operations of such well-established names as Carluccio’s and Mango Tree.
At the opening, guests were treated to an array of authentic cuisines, cocktails and entertainment. At the ceremony, Chinese artists also gave a demonstration of Chinese calligraphy gifts with their names in oil paint on canvas
Chi’Zen offers an entirely novel and exclusive culinary journey, having derived conceptually from the critically acclaimed Zen Chain of restaurants in Hong Kong, China, London and Mexico.
Foodmark’s country operations manager for Qatar/Kuwait Summet Jhingan said: “Chi’Zen is a franchise of the well-known and highly acclaimed Zen restaurants and we are very excited to be bringing it to Doha.”
He added: “We are absolutely confident that Chi’Zen will very soon become a favourite haunt for locals, expatriates and tourists, just as our other outlets in Doha-Carluccio’s and Mango Tree.”
