I think people in Doha will enjoy his talent.” About the YouTube group from Hyderabad, Khan said: “The group is very talented and I am happy that I will be able to see them live in Doha. It is going to be big fun.”
Lokesh Walia has been living in Qatar for 33 years. He is also keen to see the live comedy by Grover. He said: “For the Indian living in Qatar get fewer opportunities to see their beloved artistes performing alive. They visit India for a brief period of time. This show is going to be rarest opportunity where the families will enjoy live comedy.”
He added that Grover is equally famous in North and South India. The audience surely is going to be enthralled by his acrobatic acts and instant jokes.
Anshu Jain is an active member of the Indian community. She has been living in Qatar for seven years. She has been the compere of many community events. She said: “It is the year of culture between India and Qatar. There have been musical, artistic, dance and cultural programmes taking place in Qatar almost every week.
There has however been a dearth of comedy shows. Especially, there have been no significant comedy events that one can enjoy with one’s family. Kapil Sharma Show in general and Grover’s characters in particular have been a household name in India. The upcoming event will provide a genuine family comedy that all and sundry will enjoy.”
