South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon and his accompanying delegation visited the National Museum of Qatar on Saturday.
The visitors were given detailed explanations of the museum's treasures. The prime minister visited the various exhibition halls, including the one for the geological development of the Qatar Peninsula, its natural surroundings, the archaeological sites and monuments, the life of the people of Qatar on land and coasts, and the digital exhibition.
He was also briefed about the most important pieces and collections related to pearls and jewellery designs, as well as the galleries of the modern Qatari history since the discovery of oil and gas.
At the end of his tour, the Korean prime minister signed the Gold Register of the National Museum of Qatar.
