HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed al- Kuwari opened on Tuesday the eighth edition of "Cityscape Qatar 2019" exhibition at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

In a speech, HE the Minister expressed his happiness at the opening the 8th edition of Cityscape Qatar with the participation of several countries featuring exceptional projects and real estate and investment opportunities.

He said the exhibition represents a competitive platform for companies from the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Far East and North Africa, to attract the interest of investors. HE the Minister welcomed the first time participation of Tunisia in the exhibition through a specialised national pavilion.

He noted that the Qatari real estate market is witnessing favourable conditions for investors, registering more competitive prices during the current year, which contributed to attracting investors looking for high-quality real estate. He explained that the volume of transactions recorded an annual increase of 20% during the first quarter of 2019, while residential real estate supply reached 293,000 units in the first quarter, with the delivery of 3000 apartments and villas in different areas in the State.
