The chances of rain are expected to improve in Doha and other parts of the country from Tuesday, while a noticeable drop in temperature is likely from Wednesday, the Qatar Met department has said.
A report was posted on the department's social media pages on Sunday in this regard.
The report states that the country is witnessing partly cloudy skies and the chances of scattered rain, which may be thundery at times, accompanied by strong winds, are expected to continue on Monday - especially in the northern areas and offshore.
"The chance of rain of variable intensity is expected to improve from Tuesday, November 19, gradually extending over Doha and most areas in the country," it continued. "In addition, a noticeable drop in temperature is expected from Wednesday, November 20, ranging between 13C and 25C across the country."
In view of the expected conditions, the Met department has urged people to be cautious avoid going to sea and follow the latest updates through its official social media accounts.
