The Omani Ministry of Health has registered 15 new coronavirus cases in the country on Wednesday, bringing the tally up to 99 cases.

‘All 15 are citizens of Oman and seven cases are linked to contact with infected patients and seven of the cases are related to travel to the United Kingdom, Spain and America. While one case is under epidemiological investigation,’ the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

A total of 17 patients with COVID-19 have recovered so far, the ministry added.

Oman decided on Tuesday to suspend all internal and international flights as of next Sunday, except cargo operations and flights to Musandam, due to the increasing number of infections in several areas in the Sultanate. (QNA)
