All developments related to the imported food sector from various destinations of origin in the light of the high costs of shipping were discussed.
The importance of facilitating procedures for entry and exit of commodities to and from ports and to the Industrial Area, and from the Industrial Area to sale outlets was stressed.
The meeting stressed the importance of supporting productive companies in the food sectors, especially those in poultry and vegetables, and providing support in customs duties of raw materials.

They praised the Takatuf Initiative launched by Qatar Chamber, to encourage all its members from the private sector, public shareholding companies, and businessmen to participate in supporting the state’s efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.
