Qatar registered some 60 property sale deals with a total value exceeding approximately QR158mn between May 3 and 7, Ezdan said citing data from the Real Estate Registration Department.

The deals included sale of 37 vacant land lots at a total value of QR85.7mn, while buildings recorded 20 sales deals at a total value of QR53.7mn.

The other property types sold amounted to three worth nearly QR18.7mn.

The deals were distributed among seven municipalities such as Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Thakhira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen and Al Wakrah, which included vacant land lots, multi-use buildings, multi-use space and residential buildings.

Al-Daayen Municipality accounted for the highest value transaction through the sale of land lot spanning over an area of 3,400 square meters, at a price per square foot of QR345, totalling around QR12.6mn.

Al-Daayen Municipality has seen the sale of a multi-use building in Jeryan Jenaihat area spreading over 1,200 square metres. The transaction was clinched at a price of QR906 per square foot, with an aggregate value of QR11.7mn, while Umm Salal Municipality witnessed the lowest real estate deal in terms of value for a vacant land lot in Umm Al-Amad area (of 557 square metres) at a price per square foot that did not exceed QR200, totalling QR1.2mn.
