The Indian embassy in Doha Friday appealed to the community members not to register for repatriation if they are not sure about it.
In a tweet, the embassy explained that a number of those who had registered on its website for repatriation by providing strong justification, are changing their minds when called to buy tickets.
"This causes confusion and is a big disservice to other deserving persons," the mission pointed out in the tweet.
The embassy also urged to do the registration without delay if certain about it, as all passenger lists have to be cleared by Qatari authorities well in time before each flight. Continuing registrations will make it difficult to finalise the list and to get approvals in time, the embassy said.
