As part of lifting the Covid-19 restrictions, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) on Thursday published the names of 18 more nurseries that have been allowed to be reopened.

With the new approval, the total number of nurseries to be reopened reached 47. Through an official tweet, MADLSA informed that these nurseries have got approval for reopening as they have met the requirements and taken precautionary and preventive measures as directed by the ministry against Covid-19.

The 18 nurseries are: Acorn Nursery, My Care Nursery, Al Fereej Nursery, Smart Start Nursery, Leap Ahead Nursery, Al Khuloud Nursery, Kids Garden Nursery, Barara Nursery Al Aziziya, Birds Nursery, Rainbow Nursery, Educate Me Nursery, Snow White Nursery, Happy Kids Nursery, Life Time Nursery, Kidzone Nursery 3, Al Baraem Nursery, Grandma Nursery 3 and Al Joury Nursery.

The MADLSA issued the first list of 19 nurseries initially, followed by the second list of 10 nurseries on August 16. The ministry has put in place guidelines to ensure the safety of children in nurseries as they reopen following the closure necessitated by the Covid-19 restrictions. The ministry prepared the guidelines for owners and management of nurseries, workers, teachers and parents, children and those accompanying them.
