The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has reminded the public of the six-month partial closure of the junction known as LuLu Intersection on D-Ring Road from Sunday.

"Follow the traffic signboards and guidelines to turn to different directions as shown on the map," the MoI tweeted on Saturday.

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) had recently announced the partial closure, which would be carried out in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic to enable works at the key intersection as part of the D-Ring Upgrade Project.

The left turn at LuLu Intersection will be closed to traffic from D-Ring Road towards Jaber Bin Hayyan Street. Road users are advised to take a U-turn at the Nuaija (Mall) Intersection to reach their destinations.

For the left turn at LuLu Intersection from Jaber Bin Hayyan Street towards D-Ring Road, road users should take the right exit at the signal onto D-Ring and then use the recently made U-turn nearby.

Road users coming from Nuaija (Mall) Intersection wishing to take a U-turn have to continue driving and then use the recently made U-turn after LuLu Intersection.
