His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani offered condolences Sunday to Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah on the death of Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
The Father Amir also offered condolences to members of the ruling family and ranking officials, praying to the Almighty Allah to have mercy on the soul of the deceased and to rest it in peace in Paradise.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa al-Thani and a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs, ministers and members of the delegation accompanying the Father Amir also offered condolences.
Earlier, the Father Amir was welcomed on arrival in Kuwait by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah al-Sabah, Qatar's ambassador to Kuwait Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, and staff of the Qatari embassy.
