On this occasion, al-Sulaiti expressed happiness at the opening of the fourth edition of S’hail.
He stressed that the event is among the most important international heritage exhibitions hosted by Katara, and has become a "destination and global station attracting lovers of hunting and trekking, and falconers, from Qatar and all around the world".
In view of the coronavirus situation, all precautionary and preventative measures are being followed to ensure everyone's safety at the exhibition.
The coronavirus causes the Covid-19 respiratory disease.
The event offers a conducive atmosphere to take a look at the latest types of weapons and the best equipment and products in the world of hunting and off-road adventures, he added.
Katara said that the exhibition witnessed a "huge public presence" on the first day itself while following all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Visitors are allowed entry in two time slots – the first one is from 9am-2pm, and the second one from 4pm-11pm.
This is done based on an electronic reservation system accessed through the exhibition's website, in order to avoid crowding at the exhibition site and to ensure safety for all.
