The Ministry of Municipality and Environment's (MME) Public Gardens Department along with Al Daayen Municipality opened on Sunday Al Sakhama Park and Wadi Lusail Park within the geographical boundaries of the municipality.
Al Daayen Municipality director Rashid al-Khayareen, the Public Gardens Department assistant director Mohamed Ibrahim al-Sada and a number of other officials were present on the occasion.
Al Sakhama Park has a space of 6,250sq m with 2,240sq m green areas and 16 palm trees, a cafeteria, toilets and children's play areas, while Wadi Lusail Park is spread over 8,370sq m with 2,360sq m of green areas and 17 palm trees, in addition to a football ground of 960sq m, a volleyball court of 970sq m, a cafeteria, toilets and children's play areas.
