His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired on Wednesday the council's third meeting of 2020 at the Amiri Diwan.
His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, Executive Member of the Council and members of the council.
The council reviewed the decisions and recommendations of its first and second meetings of 2020, addressed the topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
The council also reviewed developments in energy affairs, investment affairs, general economic developments in the State, repercussions of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic on the Qatari economy, and the economic measures and policies taken by the government to reduce these repercussions.
