His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday evening.
During the phone call, the Amir and the Iranian president reviewed the bilateral relations and ways to enhance and promote them, as well as the results of the Qatari-Iranian Joint Committee for Trade and Economic Co-operation, which held its seventh session in the Iranian city of Isfahan on Tuesday.
The phone conversation also touched on a number regional and international issues.
