Shoppers had the chance to take advantage of a wide range of promotions, huge discounts, and other deals at major hypermarkets and supermarkets in Qatar on Friday.

Electronic devices such as smartphones and laptops were among the fast-moving and most sought-after items apart from accessories and appliances such as television sets.

From QR4,069, LuLu Hypermarkets reduced the price of Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (256 GB) to QR2,349 while the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (256GB) was being sold at QR3,749 from its original price of QR4,999.

LuLu sliced laptop prices too. For example, the HP Stream with 4GB RAM was reduced from QR1,499 to QR1,199.

LuLu Group International regional manager Shanavas P M told Gulf Times that LuLu’s ‘Super Friday’ received a good response from shoppers in the country on Friday.

Besides groceries and fresh items, he said all categories on electronics and mobile devices (various brands) were among the bestsellers.

Meanwhile, Carrefour Qatar’s Friday exclusive online deals also offered huge discounts on electronics and smartphones. Many of its mobile devices and accessories such as iPhone 11 Pro (256GB), Apple Watch Series 5, Apply Mac Book Pro i5, Apple AirPods 2, and other items were already out-of-stock when checked on Carrefour Qatar’s website on Friday evening.
