The Department of Meteorology in its daily weather report Sunday warned of thundery rain associated with strong wind at places at times. Weather inshore until 6pm on Sunday will be misty at some places at first that can become relatively hot daytime with scattered clouds with chance of rain that could be thundery at places, the report said.
Offshore, it will be hazy to misty at places at first becomes partly cloudy to cloudy at times with chance of scattered rain, thundery at places, the report added, warning of expected thundery rain and strong wind with high sea.
Wind inshore will be southeasterly to southwesterly 05 to 15 knot reaching 25 knot during thundery rain, becomes northwesterly 08 to 18 knot gusting at 30 knot by evening.
Offshore, it will be southeasterly to southwesterly 05 to 15 knot gusting to 32 knot with thundery rain, becomes northwesterly 18 to 25 knot later.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/2km or less at places at times.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet later, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 to 9 feet later.
