The Mechanical Equipment Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has provided various municipalities and MME departments with 20 new vehicles of different types to improve their services and quality of work.
The fleet comprise 10 trailers, seven general cleaning vehicles and three other trailers for the transportation section, it was announced on Monday.
Saeed Nasser al-Nuaimi, head of the transportation section at the department, stressed the keenness of the department to provide the latest and most sophisticated vehicles and equipment according to the changing requirement of work in a way that guarantee the delivery of excellent service to the society.
The department also organised a training course for 84 drivers on the new vehicles from approved trainers of the supplying companies.
