The embassy of Qatar in El Salvador handed over the last batch of aid, equipment and medical supplies provided by Qatar Fund for Development to El Salvador to support it facing the global health emergency and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. The last batch of these medical donations included refrigerators to cool medicines for the El Salvador hospital, which is designated to receive and care for Covid-19 patients. On this occasion, Director of El Salvador Hospital Laura Miranda, expressed her thanks to Qatar for this support, stressing that this donation will improve the healthcare provided to Salvadorans, and make the response to this pandemic rapid and effective. For his part, acting charge d'affaires of the Qatar embassy in El Salvador Tariq Othman al-Othman, toured the El Salvador Hospital, accompanied by Director Miranda, to follow up the operation of the donated refrigerators.
