The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced the launch of 'National Campaign for Oral and Dental Health on Sunday' in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) under the slogan 'My Smile is My Health'. The campaign, which will be launched via the official communication platforms of MoPH, aims to raise awareness on the importance of oral care and the positive behaviours towards the current oral and dental services in the community. It will also enhance communication between dental services and other departments in various medical institutions, in addition to encouraging community groups of children, adolescents and adults to follow a healthy diet and reduce sugar in food and drinks. 
During the campaign, educational publications on oral and dental health will be published on all the MoPH social media platforms, and of other health sector partners. The campaign includes providing free medical consultations by specialised dentists who will answer all questions that will be asked by the public on the ministry's website. The campaign is part of the outcomes of the National Oral and Dental Health Committee, in which Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation, Police Hospital at the Ministry of Interior, government schools and Qatar Petroleum participate.
It is worth mentioning that the Primary Health Care Corporation, within the framework of the National Health Strategy/ 2018-2022/ and under the umbrella of the National Oral and Dental Health Committee, and in cooperation with other health authorities in the country, implemented the National Oral and Dental Health Survey for children between the ages of four and eight years. The survey was carried out by the Hamad Medical Corporation, the Police Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Qatar Petroleum, in cooperation with the University of Adelaide, Australia.
