A cold spell is expected to affect the country during the weekend, the Qatar Met department has said.
The minimum temperature is expected to see a significant drop during this period.
"It is expected that the country will be affected by a cold spell from Wednesday night," the weather office said in a statement on social media Wednesday.
The minimum temperature will decrease significantly, especially during the weekend, ranging from 8-17C and dropping below that in some southern and external areas of the country, according to the statement.
The maximum, on the other hand, will range from 22-26C in various regions.
Thursday's forecast says a minimum temperature of 9C is expected in Wakrah and Mesaieed Thursday, followed by 11C in Al Khor and 12C in Abu Samra.
In Doha, the temperature is likely to range from 14-23C Thursday.
The forecast also says poor horizontal visibility (2km or less) is expected in some places in the early hours of the day due to misty to foggy conditions. This will be followed by moderate daytime temperature and some clouds, and it will be cold by night.
It will be hazy and partly cloudy in offshore areas at first, followed by fine conditions and some clouds later, the forecast adds.
