There are chances of mist and fog formation in the country until Friday morning, the Qatar Met department has said.
In a statement on social media Monday, the department said: "Chances of mist to fog formation are expected at some places during the night and early morning from Monday night until Friday morning." This will cause a drop in the horizontal visibility to less than 2km or "lack of visibility at times". "Please be careful and follow the latest update through our official account," the department said.
Meanwhile, Tuesday's detailed forecast says poor horizontal visibility (dropping to 2km or less) is expected in some places at first due to misty to foggy conditions. This will be followed by moderate temperature during the daytime with some clouds, and it will be cold by night.
The weather office has also said strong winds and high seas are expected in offshore areas towards the "far north" by this afternoon. The wind speed may go up to 22 knots in these places, with the sea level rising to 7ft. The temperature in Doha is expected to range from 16-25C Tuesday.
