Weather inshore until 6 pm on Sunday will be moderate temperature during the daytime with scattered clouds and chance of rain at places and slightly dusty at times, relatively cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of strong wind expected at places by afternoon.

Offshore, cloudy to partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain in northern area maybe thundery at times, the report added, warning of thundery rain in northern areas and strong wind with high sea,

Wind inshore will be southeasterly at first shifting to northwesterly 08 to 18 knot reaches to 23 knot at places by afternoon.

Offshore, it will be southeasterly to southwesterly 12 to 22 knot gusting to 25 knot during thundery rain, shifting to northwesterly by evening.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometre.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at times, while offshore it will be 4 to 7 feet, rises to 8 feet during thundery rain.
