* Nesma’ak Hamad Patient Contact Centre closed on NSD

The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has said 15 health centres (HCs) will operate continuously from 7am to 11pm on Tuesday during National Sport Day.

These 15 HCs are Al Wakra, Airport, Umm Ghuwailina, Omar Bin Al Khattab, West Bay, Al Sheehaniya, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Muaither, Al Rayyan, Mesaimeer, Al Ruwais, Al Khor, Leabaib, Gharrafat Al Rayyan and Madinat Khalifa, according to PHCC.

Also, the Al Jumailiya health centre will operate based on a call-up system.

With regard to the health centres dedicated to examining suspected cases of Covid-19, PHCC said the Rawdat Al Khail and Umm Salal HCs would work continuously over a 24-hour period.

The health centres that will be closed on Sport Day are Al Daayen, Al Wajbah, Al Waab, Al Thumama, Abu Nakhla, Qatar University, Leghwairiya, Al Karana and Al Kaaban, except for urgent cases unit at the centre, which will operate 24 hours.

Regarding appointments for specialised clinics, two eye clinics at the Leabaib and Airport centres will operate in two shifts, in the morning from 7am to 2pm and in the evening from 4pm until 10pm. ENT clinics at the Leabaib and Mesaimeer centres will operate in from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm until 10pm.

Dermatology clinics at the Leabaib and Muaither HCs will also operate in two shifts, first in the morning from 7am to 2pm and then in the evening from 4pm to 10pm. Dental clinics will operate continuously from 7am to 10pm.

The PHCC has said the work timings for urgent case units are 24 hours a day at the Al Ruwais, Al Kaaban, Umm Salal, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Sheehaniya, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Muaither and Rawdat Al Khail HCs, while the community call centr will operate 24 hours.

With regard to the Covid-19 testing service provided through vehicles, PHCC noted that this would be available according to the appointments specified for patients in advance at the health centres, as follows:

* The service will be available in the morning period only, from 7am to 2pm, at the Al Thumama, West Bay and Al Khor centres.

* The service will operate in the evening only, from 4pm to 11pm, at the Leabaib, Al Wajbah and Al Rayyan centres.

* Examination service through vehicles will be carried out in two shifts, in the morning from 7am to 2pm and in the evening from 4pm to 11pm at four health centres: Al Wakra, Al Waab, Mesaimeer and Abu Baker Al Siddiq.

Meanwhile, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has said on the occasion of National Sport Day, the Nesma’ak Hamad Patient Contact Centre and Referral and Booking Management System will be closed on Tuesday and will resume operations at 7am on Wednesday.
