Qatar Chamber will hold its general assembly meeting (GAM) on Monday, February 15, via video conferencing, and will be presided over by Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani.
In a statement, the chamber said that due to the current circumstances and in adherence with the precautionary measures taken to curb the outbreak of Covid-19, the GAM would be held virtually at 12 noon.
Online registration for attending the meeting will start at 8am on February 15 and will close half an hour before the meeting via the chamber’s website, www.qatarchamber.com. After registration, each member, who must have a valid membership, will receive a link to participate in the meeting.
The chamber also noted that if the quorum is not complete at the first meeting, the second meeting would be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, regardless of the number of attendees.
The meeting’s agenda includes reviewing the report of the board of director on the activities of the Chamber in 2020. It also includes discussing the chamber’s fiscal report for 2020 through the auditor’s report on the final accounts and the statement of income and expenses for the year.
It will also see the approving of the estimated budget for the fiscal year 2021 and appointing a new auditor for the 2021 financial year.
