HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Subaie has praised the participation of school students in environmental events and activities, considering that it confirms the shared responsibility of all in preserving the environment.
This came during the minister's participation on Wednesday with a group of school students in planting seedlings of trees from the local environment in the inner garden of the ministry's main building on the Corniche, as part of the initiative to plant 1mn trees.
HE al-Subaie honoured students from Qatar Academy, in appreciation of their participation in the activities of Qatar Environment Day 2021, and thanked them for their contribution to the initiative, and their keenness to plant trees because of their importance in preserving the ecosystem, and the environment of Qatar in particular, and for human health and overall quality of life.
