* Qatar Chamber organises AgriteQ tour for Tunisian minister
Qatar Chamber organised a tour for Tunisian Economy and Finance Minister Ali al-Kooli and his accompanying delegation at Qatar’s International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) Wednesday.
The delegation also included the president of the Tunisian Union of Industry and Commerce, Samir Majoul. Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani and the delegation toured the pavilions where they were informed on the products being showcased at the exhibition.



The Tunisian delegation showed keen interest in the exhibition and the Qatari agricultural products during the tour.
In a statement, Sheikh Khalifa said the exhibition offers an important platform that enables businessmen to explore the latest innovations in agriculture and learn about the investment opportunities available in this sector, which is one of the most attractive sectors for investment.
He also lauded the active role played by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) in supporting the agricultural sector by organising this international event. It is noteworthy that Qatar Chamber is supporting the exhibition as Silver Sponsor.
Through its booth in the expo, Qatar Chamber is highlighting the services it offers for the business community, as well as the role it performs to encourage Qatari businessmen to invest in agriculture and food security projects.
Sheikh Khalifa also noted that the chamber’s participation at AgriteQ 2021 confirms its keenness in supporting the agriculture sector and encouraging businessmen to invest in this vital sector, which is considered as a key catalyst for achieving food security in the country.
Organised by the MME, the five-day expo is being held under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani.
