The graduation ceremony of Junior Section at MES Indian School for the academic year 2020-2021 was held recently. It was conducted online through Zoom and streamed live on the school Facebook account.

The event was organised to applaud the young and enthusiastic learners. The students of Grade-IV, who are promoted from the Junior Section to the middle school, were honoured during the ceremony. K Abdul Karim, president of MES Governing Board, was the chief guest of the day’s ceremony. He appreciated the teachers for their efforts taken for the successful completion of the academic year amidst challenges posed by the pandemic without compromising on quality.

Hameeda Kadar, MES principal, appreciated the parents and teachers, who played a supportive role in the growth and development of the students, and for enabling them to reach the milestone. Uzma Fatimee, Head of Section officiating, felicitated the students for their accomplishments.

The graduated students were presented with e-certificates for their achievements. Some parents from Grade-IV students expressed their gratitude for the school in providing quality education. The students too shared their reflections on the journey they had just completed at the Junior Section. The office-bearers of the academic year were also given a special mention during the ceremony.

Students danced gracefully to add colour to the event. The ceremony culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by Ayat Suhail of Grade-IV. Sradha Venkataraman of Grade-III compered the programme and Muhammed Zayaan, also from Grade-III, delivered the welcome note. Kadeeja Beevy Abdullah coordinated the event.
