Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) celebrates Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSC) for the second time in succession.

Having received the accreditation first time in 2017, the school geared itself by establishing the highest standards, upgrading it to provide the best to the learners and other stakeholders. According to a school self-study report, the recommendations given by the visiting team in 2017 were implemented in toto and to the utmost satisfaction of the QNSA inspection team.

The team of seven experts inspected all the aspects of the five QNSA standards in February 2021 and were highly satisfied with the academic, administrative, managerial and physical standards at SIS. The team made a special note on the trademarked SIS Learn - Active Learning Pedagogy and the efforts made for hybrid blended learning system of physical and remote classes adhering to the safety protocols and guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) and the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).

SIS takes pride in announcing the renewal of QNSA and has congratulated its students, teachers, parents and the community for their support that helped the school to receive a high index of satisfaction from the QNSA team. The MoEHE has congratulated SIS for the achievement. Ghanim Saad M Alsaad al-Kuwari, chairman of School Board of Directors, congratulated the entire SIS family for their performance in overcoming challenges and limitations during the Covid-19 pandemic.
