For the third year, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA), in cooperation with Qatar Charity (QC) launched the "Hadiya" gift initiative, which targets families benefiting from social security on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr.

This initiative comes within the framework of permanent cooperation between the Ministry and QC, which funds the initiative with QR 10 million to support families and provide for their needs during Ramadan and Eid al Fitr.

In the implementation of the precautionary measures followed in the country to limit the spread of Covid-19, the Ministry, represented by the Social Affairs Sector, is working to take several measures that would contribute to the relief of citizens benefiting from social security, as the validity of social security cards was renewed and extended automatically until further notice without the need to review the Ministry and its branches. The procedures for renewing the use of the rental allowance were also extended by the Citizens Housing Department without the need for review.

The Ministry called for using the online "Amerni" application and services on the Ministry's website to benefit from the available services. It also welcomed public inquiries and needs through the 16008 hotline and its social media platforms.
