Qatar Charity (QC), with support from benevolent people in Qatar, has finished distributing Eid clothing among orphans in many countries of the world. The distribution of Eid clothing continues in other countries, QC has said in a statement.The Eid clothing project, which aims to share the joy of Eid with orphans, is part of Qatar Charity’s ‘Ramadan of Hope’ drive. The project is expected to benefit more than 4,390 orphans sponsored by QC in 29 countries. The beneficiaries receive Eid gifts and clothing.







In Kosovo, Eid clothing was distributed among 220 orphans through coupons that enabled the beneficiaries to choose appropriate clothes for their Eid. Qatar Charity’s Pakistan office distributed Eid clothes to 270 orphans in Rawalakot, Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Massod ur-Rehman, the district commissioner, highly appreciated QC’s interventions in Rawalakot. He said Eid gifts are blessings for orphans, ensuring support for Qatar Charity’s projects in the future.
In Kenya, Qatar Charity implemented the Eid clothing project for the benefit of sponsored orphans, benefiting 140 children. In Palestine, 330 orphans sponsored by QC benefited from the Eid clothing project. The beneficiary children expressed delight at receiving these gifts, thanking their sponsors and Qatar Charity for their support and stressing that they could enjoy Eid al-Fitr with their friends in new clothes.
