The My Book Qatar App aims to drive the discovery of local Qatar-based businesses among its vast user base and provides great value and savings to the users themselves as they discover new experiences.

As a Qatar-based company, supported by Qatari investors and visionaries, and with the inspiration from the Qatar National Vision 2030, My Book Qatar has been successfully working to uplift the various segments of the country’s own local businesses with its digital products.

“The secret of our success lies in partnerships,” said My Book Qatar CEO Abdullah Soomro.

He said, “Over the last year, we have had massive success in building up our user base in Qatar. Our number of App users has actually doubled since the Covid-19 crisis began. We have achieved this through a series of successful partnerships with global and local Qatar based organisations. We proudly count some of the largest players in Qatar as our partners that have rolled out the My Book App with us for their own customer base.

“These companies include well-known names, such as Vodafone, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Alfardan Exchange, AlKhaleej Takaful Insurance, and Ezdan Real Estate to name a few. Through our partnership with Mastercard in Qatar, all top tier Mastercard cardholders in the country get access to our high value My Book App loaded with offers across all merchant categories.”

My Book Qatar is a ‘Discover & Save’ app helping consumers save money through thousands of Buy-1-Get-1-Free offers at its network of more than 1,000 outlets across various categories.

It was the “first Qatari company and app” launched in the country that allowed customers to redeem Buy-1-Get-1-Free offers using their smartphones. Today, the My Book app is “one of the most popular apps in Qatar” that can be used to avail offers across cafes, fine dining and fast-food restaurants, hotels and staycations, theme parks, spas, salons, gyms, and fitness centres, among others.

In 2020 with the onset of Covid-19, the My Book Qatar App was quick to adjust to the new reality and introduced hundreds of app-based offers that worked on take away and delivery, more suited to the new environment and challenges being faced by local businesses and consumers in Qatar.

“Whether it’s a bank, a telco, an insurance provider or a real estate firm, everyone wants to offer high-value rewards to their loyal customers, and the best way to do that is with the My Book Qatar App,” said Faraz Waqar, director of Marketing and Partnerships.

He said, “We continue to add to our impressive list of partners year-on-year. Vodafone, Ezdan Real Estate, and Careem are some of the major partnerships we have added just in the last year. Our My Book Qatar App has a strong, high spending and active user base thanks to its growing list of partnerships with these leading companies in Qatar. Our digital App helps the customers of these partner organisations discover and save massively on the best of what Qatar has to offer.”

All My Book App users enjoy more than 2,000 Buy-1-Get-1-Free offer vouchers on fine dining, hotels, cafes, fast food, family theme parks, salons, spas, gyms, fitness centres, and more, at more than 1,000 outlet locations all across Qatar. Regular users save QR4,000 to QR6,000 a year through the app, Waqar also said.
