The competent authorities have referred a total of 322 persons to the relevant prosecution for violating Law No 17 of 1990 regarding infectious diseases and the preventive and precautionary measures in force to limit the spread of Covid-19, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) tweeted on Thursday.
While 307 persons were apprehended for not wearing a mask, 11 did not maintain safe physical distancing and four did not install the Ehteraz app. The competent authorities urge the public to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures in force to protect them and others from the spread of coronavirus, the MoI tweet added.
