Ideal Indian School (IIS) recently celebrated the World Environment Day conducting various events through virtual platform portraying the theme, ‘Ecosystem Restoration.’
The students of kindergarten, junior, boys and girls sections participated and expressed their care and concern for environment through artistic displays.
To mark the occasion, various competitions were conducted including online poster making, digital painting, essay and poem writing mainly focusing on conserving biodiversity.
The tiny tots of KG were encouraged to take part in activities that promote environmental protection including show-and-tell and making wall hangings of the Earth.
In the junior section, students watched short videos that spread awareness on saving electricity and water, using reusable bags, saving natural resources, growing more trees and their importance etc.
A drawing competition on the topic ‘save trees save environment and restoration of ecosystem’ was also held.
