The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Porsche Centre Doha - Al Boraq Automobiles, dealer of Porsche in Qatar, has announced a recall of Porsche Cayenne S and Cayenne Coupe models of 2021- 2022 due to a fault in placing the threaded connections on the rear trailing arm.
Also, in co-operation with Almana Motors Company, dealer of Ford in Qatar, the ministry has announced a recall of Ford Mustang Shelby model of 2020 due to a defect in the inner timing chain tensioner.
The recall campaigns comes within the framework of the MoCI's continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry has said it will co-ordinate with the dealers to follow up on the maintenance and repair works, and communicate with customers to ensure that they have carried out the necessary repairs.
