The designated authorities arrested Saturday four people who violated the requirements of the home quarantine. The violators, who are currently being referred to the designate prosecution, are: Ahmed Abdullah Obada Ali Obada, Hussein Mahmoud Al Hadi Abu Faraj, Ashraf bin Suleiman Al Hadhli, and Sameer Mohammed Noor-Eddin Abdulrahman.
The  authorities also referred 1543 people to the prosecution for non-compliance with the preventive and precautionary measures in place in the country to limit the spread of Covid-19.
Among them, 1117 people were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory, 413 people for not adhering to the safe distance, and 13 people for not installing the Ehteraz app.
The measures are in line with the Cabinet decision and Decree Law No. 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, and the precautionary measures in force in the country to contain the spread of Covid-19.
The designated authorities called on the public to adhere to the precautionary measures in place to ensure their safety and the safety of others. They added that anyone who violates the quarantine will be subject to article no. 253 of law no. 11 of 2004, provisions of law no. 17 of 1990 on communicable diseases, and law no. 17 of 2002 on protecting society.
