Msheireb Properties (MP), a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation for Education, Sciences and Social Development, welcomed on Sunday visitors at its dedicated pavilion in Cityscape Qatar 2021, which is taking place until October 19 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
Msheireb Properties is showcasing its new residential and commercial offerings in Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD), one of the smartest and most sustainable city districts in the world. Customers can register interest in the new luxurious townhouses, which offer the perfect place for families seeking to live in the heart of Doha.
They reflect the rich Qatari heritage and offer state-of-the-art amenities integral to modern living. These iconic dwellings are designed with the Qatari lifestyle in mind and deliver exceptional living environments that offer privacy and security together with generous indoor and outdoor spaces and superb functionality.
Drawing on the traditional concept of a ‘Freej’, the townhouses are arranged in clusters around communal gardens, encouraging a spirit of family and a sense of community. Each cluster comprises four to 11 townhouses. The residents share a garden and a Majlis. The townhouses also offer amenities, such as a private basement parking, which can be accessed by a private lift, and spacious, well-lit contemporary space with private courtyards and roof terraces, many with rooftop pools.
At Cityscape Qatar 2021, Msheireb Properties will also provide an update on the last and fourth phase of development in MDD. As the city district was being developed, this phase had to be rescheduled as underground works for Qatar Rail’s Msheireb Station had to be finished.
Phase 4 includes three commercial buildings, two residential buildings (one-three-bedroom apartments), a boutique hotel with serviced apartments, street-level retail, and vibrant public spaces.
Faisal al-Malki, chief officer of operations at Msheireb Properties, said: “Msheireb Properties is committed to adding value to the economy through our flagship project, Msheireb Downtown Doha. We are showcasing the best of residential and commercial offerings that assure a world-class lifestyle, which integrates tradition with modernity, in a truly smart and sustainable environment.
“Today, Msheireb Downtown Doha is the most sought-after destination for an unprecedented work-live-play experience, and we will continue to focus on surprising our customers. At Cityscape Qatar, we will put the spotlight on our fourth phase that offers exciting investment opportunities.”
MDD is the world’s largest certified sustainable and smart downtown communities with 100 mixed-use buildings, 900 residential units, more than 300 retail units, and 17 commercial buildings, in addition to hotels, a school, three mosques, the Galleria Mall, and many retail stores set in a high-street environment, as well as the much-admired Msheireb Museums.
As an attractive proposition for retail, commercial, and residential options, MDD offers unparalleled geographical connectivity for visitors and residents led to its central positioning and easy access to surrounding destinations, such as Souq Waqif. In addition, a pedestrian-friendly tram network throughout the project and Msheireb Station, one of the world's biggest Metro stations create an extremely desirable new destination.
