Following the memorable inauguration of Al Thumama Stadium on Friday, the next two FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 venues to open their doors will be the stunning Al Bayt and the ground-breaking Ras Abu Aboud. Fans wishing to see these unique venues up close, as well as the best Arab football nations duelling for the title of the first FIFA Arab Cup, can book their tickets as of tomorrow (25 October) via FIFA.com/tickets, starting at 12:00 Doha time/11:00 CET.

During this last-minute sales phase, which will run until the end of the tournament, tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and confirmed immediately after payment. Currently, tickets for all 32 matches are still up for grabs, including the curtain-raisers on 30 November at Al Bayt (hosts Qatar v. Bahrain) and Ras Abu Aboud (UAE v. Syria).

A selection of affordable tickets is available, with category 4 tickets costing QAR 25 (Qatar residents only) for all matches except the semi-finals and final. A full overview of the sales phases and ticket prices is available at FIFA.com/tickets. As during the FIFA World Cup, fans will be able to attend more than one FIFA Arab Cup match per day, as long as there is enough time to get to the second stadium using public transport – a list of compatible matches is available here.

As of mid-November, tickets can also be purchased over the counter at the FIFA Venue Ticketing Centre located at the Doha Exhibition Center (Al Qassar Metro Station). Visa, FIFA’s Official Payment Services Partner, is the preferred payment method for fan ticket purchases for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021.

Fan ID

Fan ID is a smart-technology identification card designed to provide fans with the ultimate experience in Qatar and will be mandatory for all ticket holders that attend FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 matches. It will serve as a means of identification and provide access to tournament stadiums in combination with a valid ticket bought through FIFA.com/tickets. Fans traveling from abroad can use their Fan ID to enter Qatar multiple times – provided they carry a valid passport recognised by the State of Qatar. Fan ID will also provide ticket holders with access to a number of services and benefits relating to transport, tourism and others.

Fans should apply for their Fan ID once they have paid for their match tickets and have received their ticket application number by email. Applications for Fan ID can be submitted online via the host country entry portal website (FAC21.qa), where more information can be found.

Fan ID is operated by the government of the State of Qatar. FIFA is not responsible for its application process, issuance and/or use.

COVID-19 measures

All attendees must follow the travel advice from the Qatari authorities and the latest guidance from Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health.

Additional information on COVID-19-related safety measures to access the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 stadiums will be available at FIFA.com. To date, ticket holders are required to be fully vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved by the Ministry of Public Health.
