The country will be affected by fresh to strong Northwesterly wind in some areas from Friday until the beginning of next week, the  Department of Meteorology said Wednesday.
The wind speed may reach up to 38kt causing blowing dust and dusty weather at times with low horizontal visibility getting reduced to 2km or less, especially at open areas, the Met Department said in a tweet. And sea waves ranging between 5-8ft which can rise to 13ft at times can occur.
The Met Department urged all to be careful and follow latest updates through it's official accounts.
